Arriving at Porto and ISEP
Porto, the host city, is known as one of the most welcoming cities in the world and a top touristic destination with a virtuous mix of fun, culture, innovation and tradition. In addition, with 10+ hotels and 50+ local accommodations just in the surroundings of ISEP, the lodging will be no problem for the participants. Being the second city of Portugal, Porto is a modern European city served by railways and a dense public transportation system that includes both bus services (STCP) and subway lines (METRO) under a single ticketing system. The nearby Porto International Airport (OPO) is served by E/Pink Line METRO connecting to town centre in 30 minutes. Individual electric mobility is increasing.
ISEP is in the main university campus area of Porto, 10 minutes by subway from the city centre. It is served by the IPO subway station of the D/Yellow Line 300m from the secondary entrance and 700m from the main entrance. ISEP is also served by the 300, 301, 603, 803 bus lines.

ISEP Congress Centre
The Congress Centre of the School of Engineering (ISEP), Polytechnic of Porto, is a modern and privileged space for scientific and technological congresses, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, master classes, concerts, avant-garde and diverse cultural manifestations.
With a wide range of services, the ISEP Congress Centre can provide all necessary support, including secretariat, WiFi, multimedia, catering and live streaming, leasure spaces.
The Congress Centre is composed by diverse type of rooms with capacities ranging from 20 to 100 people, and auditoriums ranging from 50 to 460 places, so all the space needed for the success of GEOETH&GWM’20 Congress is guaranteed. All existing spaces can be setup with furniture suitable for each type of event.
